dracabelles: (Seriously?)

Being a Malfoy meant she had a reputation to uphold. A place in the world where she had to be serious, determined, the epitome of a Slytherin. With Cassie, on a protected pitch as they were, she could be something else, someone else.

It let her embrace having a good time, playing and being free. As free as she had ever felt in her life.

Not just on the broom, but to play and joke and tease. To not worry if she hit the ground, if she made a fool of herself, but to see if she could do things she couldn't before.

Pulling up slightly before Cassie, turning her broom though, hard, her shoulder actually brushing the grass as she pulled up and followed the glint as the snitch, she was certain it was the snitch, changed direction.

Yet her gaze was on Cassie, watching the ease with which she controlled her broom. She came to the wizarding world so late, and yet she took to it so well. A pureblood. Part of their world even Draca's parents couldn't deny. That meant she wasn't just tantalized by her, but not fearing the way the other girl made her feel.
